ABOUT THE OLD VILLAGE SCHOOL
If you are looking for something different, a little special and unique, somewhere to relax and unwind yet still have all the village has to offer on your doorstep, then we may be what you have been looking for!
The Old Village School dates back to 1890 located in the heart of the pretty hillside village of Peyia, not far from Coral Bay, The Akamas National Park and the quaint harbour of Agious
Our delightful apartments offer you your very own ‘Mamma Mia’ on the beautiful island of Cyprus. They have been lovingly restored being set amidst the courtyards and gardens that are awash with colours and amazing fragrances. A secluded pool in the midst of the garden area is somewhere you can relax or take a refreshing dip.
Village life and the tavernas, restaurants, bars, pharmacy and supermarkets are conveniently located a short downhill walk from your accommodation.
ACCOMMODATION
We have three separate apartments all of which sleep 2 people, and offer a very different style, character and charm you will adore!
Le Balcon - A stunning first floor apartment featuring a four poster bed, ceiling fan, air conditioning and log burner. Fully equipped kitchen facilities with a spacious balcony offering spectacular panoramic views overlooking the village, church and coastline beyond. Ideal for celebrating that special occasion!
D'Ete - A beautiful ground floor cottage style self contained summer house nestled in the beautiful gardens next to the pool, with its own entrance from the quaint narrow lane. A hideaway you will not want to leave!
The Studio - As the name suggests, this is the smallest of our apartments, offering studio style
accommodation with sea views and situated in the courtyard awash with colourful bougainvillea. The Studio is adequately equipped, comfortable and full of charm. The original stonewall is the backdrop for this delightful studio which offers a double bed, kitchen area, and a separate wet room with shower, sink and toilet.
Outside your picturesque window you will find your own bistro table & chairs for relaxing, eating & drinking!

Located in a shaded area you will find an outdoor dining area complete with Cyprus barbecue, to enjoy cooking alfresco or eating a light lunch

Our well stocked gardens fill the air with beautiful fragrances. The pathways are edged with herb filled borders and the courtyards are awash with colourful bougainvillea

Located in the secluded garden area you will find the pool which is a perfect place to cool off after a days sightseeing. Or you may choose to relax on the comfortable sun loungers

Wineries Tour
Cyprus has a history of wine making dating back over 5000 years and has 50 recognised wineries on the Island. For good wine and a great day out a wine tour is the perfect option!
Cultural Sites
Paphos has a wealth of history and culture for you to explore , from the medieval fort and the mosaics, to the archaeological sites and museums. A must do is a visit to Old Town Paphos.
Diving
Cyprus has some of the best diving sites in Europe. Both beginners and the more experienced diver can enjoy clement sea temperatures, vivid underwater seascapes and shipwrecks!
Leisure Activities
Paphos has something for everyone, from the beautiful beaches in Coral Bay to the Akamas Nature Reserve, the Troodos mountains & Aphrodite's Rock
Paphos Zoo
Originally opened as a bird sanctuary it is now home to an extensive collection of animals and birds. Set in a large natural environment & located 10 only mins away by car.
Horse Riding
We are very lucky to have George's Ranch just 6km away where you can book a beginners ride in the beautiful sea caves area or perhaps a sunset hack?
